Jennifer Hurley studied extensively with the renowned Impressionist painter Sergei Bongart after obtaining a BFA from San Diego State University. Additional training with Sunny Apinchapong-Yang, Ovanes Berberian, and Joseph Mendez honed her already sharpened artistic talents. Museum exhibitions include: "Contemporary Masters, Artistic Eden IV" (2014) and "Nature's Palette: Garden Views, Vistas, & Fantasies 1880 -2005" at the Pasadena Museum of History; the Carnegie Museum in Oxnard, California where she was an award winner in the 1998 "Classic Competition". Juried exhibitions include "The Best & Brightest" at the Scottsdale Artists School (Arizona) in 2004 and 2002 and "Spiritual Spectrum: Paintings & Sculpture by the California Art Club" at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (Los Angeles, CA) in 2004. Jennifer Hurley is an artist and exhibiting member of Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club, and American Impressionist Society.
