Hal Yaskulka was born in Brooklyn, New York and received his fine art training at New York City's School of Visual Arts. He honed his skills in the techniques of the Old Masters and Hudson River School style with four years of intensive training with Jan Seather. His extensive commissioned arts resume includes paintings for films including "The Departed", "Rush Hour", "Maiden Heist", "Contraband", and "Mouse Hunt" among others. He has created record labels for Virgin Records, Capitol Records, Geffen Records, Rhino Records, Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers, Electra, Reprise, CBS, Columbia EMI, Polygram, Motown and MCA. Museum exhibitions include: West Valley Art Museum (Arizona) and the Pasadena Museum of History (California).
