Armand Cabrera brings to his canvas the insight gathered from more than two decades as a successful production artist in the computer games and entertainment industry creating conceptual designs, background art, special effects animation and story boarding. His clients include: LucasFilm Games, Disney, Electronic Arts, Virgin Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Microsoft and Paramount Pictures. From his studio in Northern Virginia, he continues his computer production career while also dedicated to landscape painting. He often completes his oil paintings on location in one sitting, alla prima style in the studio or out of doors. Armand Cabrera has been the subject of feature articles in SouthwestArt, American Art Collector, Art of the West, and International Artist magazines. Museum exhibitions in California include: Haggin Museum, Laguna Art Museum, Pasadena Museum of History, and the Pasadena Museum of California Art. Utah museum exhibitions include: St. George Art Museum, the Human History Museum in Zion National Park and the Springville Museum. He was recently selected for the "Art in Embassies Exhibition" at the United States Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland. Armand Cabrera is an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America, the American Artist Professional League, and Plein Air Painters of the Southeast. He is the "Artist in Residence" at Riverbend Park in Great Falls, Virginia and at Century House on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.
