Internationally recognized sculptor and etcher, Angie Whitson's professional training and art education is California based. She began her studies at the Pasadena Museum of Art (now the Norton Simon Museum) and continued to California State University, Northridge and the Art League of Los Angeles. Her recent achievements include a series of sculpture commissions for the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences in addition to corporate sculpture commissions throughout the United States. Ms. Whitson is registered with the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. for archival work in bronze.
