Raised in the panhandle of Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma, Kellie Folsom’s love of creating art was inspired by her grandmother’s paintings and drawings. In 2011 she earned a B.F.A. from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Connecticut and studied at the Gage Academy with Sherie McGraw and Leah Lopez. In 2011, she was a recipient of the John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship through the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Kellie Folsom is an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists and Oklahoma Society of Impressionists.
