Born in 1981, Ezra Suko was raised in the Pacific Northwest and began painting at age fourteen when he asked his father (a painter himself) for his old painting supplies and discovered the joy of recreating the world through paint. In 2001 he began a mentorship with award winning painter, Jerry Yarnell. The loss of his brother-in-law and inspirational role model in battle in Iraq, prompted Ezra to enlist in the Army in 2008. He served two deployments in Iraq with the 3d U.S. Cavalry from Ft. Hood, Texas through October 2011. Ezra Suko is a PaintAmerica Signature Society Member and is an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society. California museum exhibitions include the Pasadena Museum of History and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
