Internationally recognized sculptor and etcher, Angie Whitson's professional training and art education is California based. She began her studies at the Pasadena Museum of Art (now the Norton Simon Museum) and continued to California State University, Northridge and the Art League of Los Angeles. Her recent achievements include a series of sculpture commissions for the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences. Museum exhibitions include: Pasadena Museum of California Art, Pasadena Museum of History, Lawton Museum of Art (Oklahoma), Trenton Museum of Art (New Jersey), National Museum of Art (Washington, D.C.). She is a Board Member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and a Sculptor Member of the California Art Club.
